I. Summary

Sen. Tim Hutchinson, Republican from Arkansas, introduced Senate Bill 2690 on June 27, 2002 reaffirming the reference to “one Nation, under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance. This bill passed in the Senate by a roll call vote. The Bill was later approved by the House on Oct. 8, 2002 and became Public Law No: 107-293 on Nov. 13, 2002.
